Requesting a Letter of Invitation
If you are traveling to the U.S. for our conference and need a letter of invitation as part of your visa application, please follow the steps below:
STEP 1: LEARN THE US VISA REQUIREMENTS/RULES/PROCEDURES
Visit Travel.State.Gov for more information about the visa application process and U.S. Department of State requirements for obtaining a Visa. DRS staff will be as helpful as we can in this process, however it is the responsibility of the attendee/applicant to understand and follow the procedures as specified by the US Department of State. We recommend starting this process as soon as possible as Visas may take time to be granted.
STEP 2: REGISTER
Please register for the conference. A letter cannot be issued unless we have a record of a paid registration. This is a necessary and non-negotiable requirement. The only forms of payment for out of country registrations is credit card online.
STEP 3: PROVIDE D.R.S. WITH INFORMATION FOR YOUR INVITATION LETTER
Email a "Request for Invitation Letter" to Lisa Sheppard (lsheppard@diversityrestoration.com). You must include all of the following information in this email:

PERSONAL INFORMATION
- Full name as it appears on your passport.
- Gender
- CONTACT INFORMATION
- Mailing address (including job title and company name if applicable)
- Contact phone number
- Fax number

PASSPORT INFORMATION
- Country of origin
- Passport number
- Date of issue
- Expiration date

OTHER TRAVEL PLANS
- Please list any other travel plans within the United States on this visit to the US
Letter of Invitation requests will be issued from January 1, 2010 through through May 31, 2010. Please allow up to 2 weeks from your request date to receive your letter.
